Amerada Group of Companies is pleased to share that the University of Saskatchewan has successfully validated our H2Si Power technology through preliminary experimental testing.
Key Results
Working with Dr. Hui Wang and Dr. Catherine Niu from the University of Saskatchewan’s Chemical and Biological Engineering Department, the research team confirmed our hydrogen production process using silicon nanoparticles and water. The results are promising:
- Hydrogen purity exceeded 90% (confirmed by gas chromatography)
- Successful "Hydrogen On-Demand" capability demonstrated
- Clear pathways identified for process optimization
Next Steps
We're now moving forward with prototype development to demonstrate the proof of concept and assess scalability for industrial applications. The University of Saskatchewan and Amerada are also exploring a formal research partnership to advance commercialization.
This collaboration validates our core technology and positions us well for the next phase of development.
